Underwater Soil is a sound reverie around Baikal Lake depths based on Antoine Gilloire's photographic work that documented his trip in the area. Between march and june 2020, during the first lockdown in France, Antoine Gilloire and Renaud Bajeux corresponded with each through sonic improvisation to build this piece. It premiered online in June 2020 during the DIFFUSIONS - Online sonic meetings festival curated by french label Le Cabanon Records.
